The "multi-piece" model is composed of a blade designed to open oysters, a large blade and a corkscrew.The Solen is a folding pocket knife handmade in our small craft workshop located in the Bordeaux region.Its beautiful slender shape is reminiscent of a boat hull. The creator's words: "I chose this name in reference to the elongated shell commonly called a 'knife'."This unique designer knife comes in 4 models to suit all your desires and needs.

The "multi-piece" model (large blade, oyster blade, corkscrew), choice of handle:-Crushed oysters and resin-Crushed oysters, gold and resin-Crushed musselsAllow 2 to 4 weeks for manufacture depending on the period.The Solen is entirely made of stainless steel. Its 12C27 blades and Z20C13 springs have undergone heat treatment, which guarantees them unfailing strength.All our handles are shaped here, in our workshop. You will have the choice between handles made from local materials like this one made from crushed oyster shells and resin.

Maintenance Tips
Do not put your Solen in the dishwasher.
DO NOT OPEN AND/OR CLOSE BOTH BLADES AT THE SAME TIME.
ALWAYS OPEN AND/OR CLOSE THEM ONE AFTER THE OTHER.
After each use of the oyster blade, rinse your Solen abundantly with clear water to avoid any risk of oxidation.
Wipe off the excess water with a dry cloth and let your knife air dry.
If you use only the large blade, clean it with a damp sponge or paper towel before folding it back.
DO NOT OPEN AND/OR CLOSE BOTH BLADES AT THE SAME TIME.
ALWAYS OPEN AND/OR CLOSE THEM ONE AFTER THE OTHER.
