Terms and Conditions of Sale

PREAMBLE

The online store www.artdelalame.fr (hereinafter referred to as "the Site") is an e-commerce website accessible via the Internet, operated by the company Unfated (hereinafter referred to as "ArtDeLaLame"), a SARL with a capital of 3 euros, whose registered office is located at 6 rue de la Poste, 08000 Charleville-Mézières, registered with the Sedan Trade and Companies Register under number 885 322 354 00014.

The Site allows ArtDeLaLame to offer for sale handcrafted knives and their accessories (hereinafter referred to as "the Products") to non-professional buyers who qualify as consumers (hereinafter referred to as "the Clients").

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the relationship between ArtDeLaLame and Clients wishing to make a purchase or browse the Site. Any order of a Product implies full and complete acceptance of these GTC by the Client.

ArtDeLaLame reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time by publishing a new version on the Site. The applicable GTC are those in effect on the date the order is placed.

These GTC and the order summary sent to the Client constitute a contractual agreement summarizing all agreements between the parties.

Purchases of Products on the Site are reserved for individuals who are not merchants, over 18 years old, and who have full legal capacity.

The Site does not allow the purchase of products for resale. Each order may not exceed thirty (30) items per Client.

ARTICLE 1: PURPOSE

These GTC define the rights and obligations of the Parties within the framework of online sales of the Products offered on the Site. They apply to the exclusion of any other document.

ARTICLE 2: PRODUCTS

The Products available for sale are those displayed on the Site at the time of the Client’s consultation. Product offers and prices are valid as long as they are visible on the Site, subject to availability.

The essential characteristics of the Products (description, materials used, maintenance advice) are detailed on each product sheet. Images and photos of the items may slightly differ from reality depending on screen settings.

In case of unavailability of a Product after an order has been placed, ArtDeLaLame undertakes to inform the Client as soon as possible and to offer either an exchange or a refund within fourteen (14) days of notification.

ARTICLE 3: PRICES

The prices displayed on the Site are in euros and include all taxes (TTC). They do not include shipping costs, which are added to the product price at checkout based on the number of artisans involved, the package weight, and the final destination.

Any customs duties for shipments outside the European Union are the responsibility of the Client. ArtDeLaLame reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but Products will be invoiced to the Client at the price in effect at the time of the order.

If a promotion is ongoing, the original price will be crossed out, and the new price will be displayed in red. The Client can also enter a promotional code at checkout.

ARTICLE 4: ORDER

The Client selects the Products they wish to order by adding them to their cart. They can review their cart contents at any time, modify their selection, or finalize their order by clicking "Order."

To place an order, the Client is invited to create a personal account. Account creation allows for optimized order tracking, but it is also possible to order as a guest.

Once the order is validated, a confirmation email is sent to the Client with a complete order summary. This document serves as proof of the transaction between the Client and ArtDeLaLame.

The information provided by the Client must be complete and accurate. ArtDeLaLame cannot be held responsible for issues related to errors in the information provided (incorrect address, etc.).

ARTICLE 5: PAYMENT

Payment for Products is exclusively made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard). The Client will be charged at the time of order validation. Payment is secured by the PayPlug solution, ensuring transaction security through SSL encryption.

ArtDeLaLame reserves the right to cancel any order in case of fraud or suspected fraud. If payment is refused or there is a technical issue, the order will be blocked until the issue is resolved.

ARTICLE 6: DELIVERY

Products are shipped via Colissimo with a signature requirement, either to the Client’s home or to a pick-up point, depending on the selected option.

Delivery times:

• France: approximately 15 days, including order preparation by the artisan and shipping.

• Europe: between 15 and 20 days.

• International: approximately 20 to 30 days, depending on the destination.

Each package has a tracking number sent to the Client via email once the order is shipped.

ARTICLE 7: RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL – RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

In accordance with current legislation, the Client has 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal.

Returned products must be in perfect condition, unused, and carefully packaged. Returns are free in some areas (France, DOM-TOM, certain European countries) but may be subject to charges in others.

ArtDeLaLame commits to refunding the Client within 14 days of receiving the returned product.

ARTICLE 8: WARRANTY

No specific warranty is offered on Products sold by ArtDeLaLame. However, if a product has a defect or does not match the order, please contact customer service within 30 days of receipt.

ARTICLE 9: LIABILITY

ArtDeLaLame strives to ensure the quality of its Products and timely delivery. However, it cannot be held responsible for delivery issues (delays, lost packages, etc.).

ARTICLE 10: DATA PROTECTION

Information collected during the order process is necessary for transaction management and proper delivery. No banking data is stored. Clients may request data deletion at any time by contacting contact@artdelalame.fr.

ARTICLE 11: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All texts, images, logos, and other graphical elements on the website www.artdelalame.fr are the exclusive property of Unfated, unless otherwise stated.

ARTICLE 12: APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These GTC are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before resorting to legal action.
