Description

Its steel, 135Cr3, which has proven itself for a long time, will allow you to sharpen it very easily and restore a very fine edge in the blink of an eye. We gave it a patinated finish with a temper line while leaving some of the raw forge, the result of Elie's work in our workshop. In terms of dimensions:It has a total length of 20.5 cm.Its cutting edge is 8.5 cm.For the wood, we slid three rings (maple, green ebony, and Macassar ebony) onto a majority of the handle made of ash. The whole gives an elegant piece, sober and finely highlighted by red spacers. Elie made engravings on the handle. The ash tends to gain golden hues under UV light. This Naalien is a knife taken from a series of blades of the same name. It is a unique piece even if the shape is approximately identical to the other knives in this series. Each piece is unique and will remain so and is entirely made and forged in our workshop in Deux-Sèvres.Its story in the universe of AcryleThe Naalien is a blade mainly used in Naalin, a cold country populated by distant cousins of orcs. A trading people and less belligerent, they have fully adapted to the cold and develop techniques learned during their many travels. The Naalien is the regional knife. It is very common and is a model with variable proportions, as it is also used by the humans who populate this difficult region. The little extrasAs always, delivered by owl with its certificate of authenticity! Care tips

Care tips

It is important to never use a dishwasher or the scraper of a sponge to wash a blade. In the first case, you will make it rust, in the second, you will scratch it (and make it more sensitive to rust...).
Cleaning the blade can be done with water – by drying it immediately – or with oil: this will allow a more harmonious patina to develop. Cleaning the handle can also be done with oil; in case of stubborn stains, you can also re-sand with 1200 grit and re-wax or oil it.
