The word of the craftsman
At 29, after eight years in IT consulting, I chose to retrain as a knife maker. With grandfathers who were craftsmen, one a pastry chef and the other a cabinet maker, I grew up watching their passion and dedication to a job well done. They instilled in me a love for materials and a desire to create unique objects.
My journey first led me to the Fer à Modeler training center in Gard to learn iron forging, then to Jean-Jacques ASTIER in Ardèche, where I perfected the art of knife making. Now based in Biot, I create knives that respect tradition, with particular attention to detail and the quality of materials.
